Natalie Madden

Natalie is a speech and language therapist with 20 years of experience supporting complex babies and children with feeding, swallowing and communication needs. Natalie has completed both postgraduate level and advanced specialist neonatal training and is also a qualified Makaton tutor. She continues to work clinically alongside her Network role, raising the profile and importance of the speech and language therapist's role in “normalising” feeding and communication development. This primarily involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team within the hospital and once the babies are home. Natalie will work with Network colleagues to continue to promote family integrated care and developmental care for improved long-term outcomes for pre-term babies and their families. She is passionate about equitable services to support parents, their babies and staff throughout their journey.
